FT-FR GLOBAL STANDARDS

EN 61482-1: Protective Clothing against the Hazards of an Electric Arc
Protective clothing certified according to EN 61482-1 protects the
wearer against the hazards of an electric arc.
EN 61482-1-1 - Determination of the arc rating (ATPV) of flame
               resistant materials for clothing.
EN 61482-1-2 - Determination of arc protection class of material and EN 61482-1
clothing by using EN 61482-1 constrained & directed arc (box test)

EN 1149-5: Protective clothing - Electrostatic Properties
Protective clothing certified according to EN 1149-5 provides the
wearer with electrostatic dissipative clothing with reduced risk of
sparking. The garment should be used as part of a total earthed
system to avoid combustible discharges. The requirements may
not be sufficient in oxygen enriched flammable atmospheres. EN 1149-5

ISO 11611:2015: Protective Clothing for Use in Welding and Allied Processes

Protective clothing intended to protect the wearer against spatter, FLAME RETARDANT WORKWEARS
short contact with flame, radiant heat from an electric arc used for
welding & allied processes, minimizes possibility of electrical shock
by short-term, accidental contact with live electrical conductors at
voltages up to approximately 100 V d. c. in normal conditions.
               • Class 1 (lower level): less hazardous welding situations. Tested EN ISO 11611
                 with 15 molten metal drops
               • Class 2 (higher level): more hazardous welding situations. Tested
                 with 25 molten metal drops

EN ISO 20471:2013: Test methods and requirements for High Visibility Clothing

This defines the requirements for safety clothing and high visibility
clothing used to improve visibility and emphasize the presence of
the wearer in environments where visibility is an issue. It's intention
is to increase visibility in all light conditions, but hazardous situations
such as at night, where visibility can be intensified with light. EN ISO 20471:2013

EN 342: Protective clothing against Cold and Low Temperatures

Protective clothing certified according to EN 342 gives the wearer
protection against cold environment. This pecifies requirements
and test methods for garments & clothing combinations designed
to protect the wearer in a cold environment (characterised by a
combination of humidity, wind & air temperature lower than -5 °C). EN 342
